With the dawn of each new year, the resolutions come along each and every time the ball drops. If you are anything like me by the time March (or more realistically February) rolls around the good intentions of a shiny new year give way to old habits that die hard.

This year I really thought about what goals I could set for myself that I could live with, and I thought that I would share them with you.

Laugh more:

Take the time to truly enjoy life and the moments that come and allow yourself to laugh!

Look for opportunities to do more for others.

It is very easy to get sucked into the trap of focusing on ourselves. Even if it is a small act of kindness like sharing a smile with a stranger, you never know what difference it could make to the other person.

Unplug.

We are tethered by our phones. They have become an extension of ourselves, when they truly don’t need to be.

Learn.

Our world is a great big classroom, if we allow to be.

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff.

This is much easier said than done. However, when you are tempted to be upset by something, ask yourself will this matter a year from now? 5 years from now?

We would love to know, what do you resolve to do this year?
