[Our New Home Consultant] was our Sales Representative from day one at Taylor Homes. She was very thorough during the entire sales process helping us to choose the best home for our budget. My wife and I have anticipated building our dream home for several years …. then came COVID. Like everyone else we put our plans on hold and just prayed life would return to normal. We are in the final stages of finishing the contract and while we haven’t broken ground yet we’re confident sharing that [our New Home Consultant] has been an awesome support resource and I’m certain we would not be looking forward to an exciting new “retirement forever dream home” were it not for the energy, care, and professionalism she brought to the table.

Things we love about our home are the layout, our walk-in shower, [and] the kitchen counter tops. We love the fact we had a say in our design and layout. The garage is my husband’s favorite part. We did have to change a few things from the original design. It was stuff we could live without. Everything and all the colors came together so nicely. It was a very long year waiting to get to move in. Overall, we are satisfied with the house. [Our superintendent] was very personable and very easy to work with.

Our experience with [our New Home Consultant] was excellent! She made everything so easy and was easy to work with. From the moment we started browsing floor plans and ideas through the picking of our finishes she made the process simple. We visited several model locations with different builders and Taylor Homes was by far the most bang for your buck and offered the best upgrades and included more at their base price than any other builder. He has made sure our house is meeting the expectations of the county building inspectors, he has given us good advice on changes we have contemplated, and will listen to ideas that I have about future projects and what we can do now to make them more accessible in the future.

…the thing we liked most about Taylor Homes in choosing a builder was that they offered copies of floor plans to all of the different style homes that they build and a price list that showed the approximate cost of each home with or without garages, basements, etc. You could then pick the floor plan that best suited you and also pick and choose any additions or changes that you would like to make. … During our initial meeting with Taylor Building to pick out a house plan, the staff was courteous and very helpful in explaining certain aspects of the building layout, planning and options.After we picked out our plans and prepared for the building process, the office staff that explained to us about picking colors, designs and showed us the samples and gave us locations to go and look at some bricks on finished houses was an excellent help. As the material arrived, the building superintendent checked on the material and prepared the sub-contractors to start building. As we checked on the building progress from time to time, the people working on our house were courteous and performed their work in a professional manner, the material and supplies used were to our satisfaction.In closing, let us say we feel that Taylor Building Corporation of America constructed our home in a professional business manner with quality material for a reasonable price. During the construction of our new home; he had the responsibility of planning, managing and adhering to company standards, guidelines and building codes during the construction of our home from start to finish.

During his service for us we came to admire him for his expert knowledge he possessed in the field of carpentry, and regarded him with the utmost respect. Very easygoing but meticulously devoted to his work, he always kept us informed as to the status or any problem that came up as the construction was progressing. There was never a time when we could not contact him for any information or discuss the progress of the job, most of the time it was him that went out of his way to keep us informed, which made the project a lot less stressful for us, because we were not in the dark about the progress of the job and knew he had it under control. Additionally he doesn’t abandon his customers at quitting time, he sticks to it even after hours until he resolves any issues that arise and goes the extra mile himself to make it a home to be proud of.

Our superintendent demonstrated early in the project that he understood what building houses is all about. He was well organized and performed excellent work in a meticulous manner. He kept a sharp eye on the material that was delivered and used, and realized that customer satisfaction and project budget makes or breaks your business. Doing well in the construction business is easy if you are as knowledgeable, customer driven and confident as him.
