With the warmer days and sunshine, everyone is getting a bit of “spring fever” and for some that means knocking the dust off your gardening gloves, heading outside, and planning your landscape. You can select from different types of flowers to plant in April. For example, choose ground cover flowers for barren areas of your yard, and use colorful flowers for entry ways or flowerbeds. Border flowers are ideal to plant along a fence or retaining wall.

Marigold

Marigolds are one of the best flowers in plant in April. These white, orange, and yellow flowers bring a lot of color to flowerbeds, and also do well in containers.
