Kelin Peercy, Corporate Administrator of Taylor Homes will soon celebrate his TWENTY-EIGHTH (28th) work anniversary on March 1, 2021! When Kelin first joined Taylor Homes he was running blue prints to the person in his current position – he says, “my job has changed significantly from when I started almost 28 years ago. I have gone from just pen and paper to learning and implementing software that has changed the way we do our job.”
Kelin essentially began his career with Taylor Homes after having the typical teenage jobs before starting. “It was overwhelming at how big the company was when I started, but everyone at Taylor Homes made the transition very easy. Taylor Homes was and has been a great company to work for!”
It’s safe to say that Taylor Homes operates smoothly thanks to Kelin’s hard work and dedication over the past three decades. His day-to-day includes reviewing and signing blue prints, changing orders and contracts, and he works closely with all IT and software companies that works with Taylor Homes. If you’ve ever built your home with Taylor Homes or plan to in the future, you’ve most likely worked with Kelin or unknowingly worked with Kelin! Jack of all trades!
Kelin was the recipient of the 2012 President’s Award! The President’s Award is given to an individual in the corporate office that shows outstanding work during the year. Kelin felt really proud of the work he had done and was very thankful to be awarded.
When asked what his favorite part of the job is, Kelin said, “my favorite part of the job is seeing the house go from paper to a finished product that will be a home for a family.”
Kelin enjoys spending time with his own family, his wife and daughter, as well as fishing and golfing. He wants to one day travel to Rome!
