4 Tips on How to Throw a March Madness Party

March 10, 2022

March is finally here and that only means one thing to college basketball fans…March Madness is upon us! The 2022 NCAA tournament is scheduled to start with the First Four on March 15 and 16. It’s time to get together with your friends and cheer on your favorite teams. The Taylor Homes team is here to give you 4 tips on how to throw a March Madness Party!

Let’s Get to Party Planning!

  1. Have your guest fill out a bracket. No March Madness party would be complete without a tournament bracket for your guest to fill out!
  2. Decorations add a festive feel to your party. If you have a specific team you are rooting for you can pick out their school colors while picking up the basic necessities, such as cups, napkins, and plates.
  3. Having delicious snacks is a must. Since the 2022 NCAA March Madness tournament is being held in New Orleans this year, you could add some cajun flare to your appetizers. Cajun shrimp toast bites are a simple and easy snack. Bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapeños are also a great idea for those guests who like snacks on the spicier side! Having a dessert option is also a must! We recommend cookies iced to look like basketballs to help pull the March Madness theme together.
  4. Make sure your TV is in working order. Before you invite everyone over for the party, don’t forget what the main attraction is. It is crucial to make sure that you receive the channel the big game will be on! You can even adjust your television’s settings to make sure your game is looking the best that it can.
