As the new home consultant over the Nashville, West Kentucky, and Southern Illinois regions, Rachel assists new homeowners with the pricing and design of their new home. Before joining the Taylor Homes team, Rachel attended the University of Louisville and studied art and interior design. When asked what her favorite thing about working for Taylor Homes is, she says “I mostly enjoy seeing the homes come to fruition from two-dimensional floor plans into the complete and personalized home that the buyer dreamt of.”When Rachel is not at work, she loves spending time with her toddler and enjoys putting effort into her “dozen unfinished DIY’s” scattered throughout her home. If you are a prospective homeowners or considering building a custom home, Rachel’s piece of advice would be to, “just take the plunge into home building!” “If you trust the process and do your research, you will have a great experience”, she says. She also gives the advice to not over-analyze every tedious detail, and don’t talk yourself out of your “wants” through the process. Sticking to your plan and incorporating a design element you’ve always wanted in your home, like crown molding in your great room, is what will allow you to enjoy, appreciate, and admire your home for years to come.
