This month, we want to shine the spotlight on Amanda Davis, our talented Marketing Administrator at Taylor Homes! With a knack for creativity and an eye for detail, Amanda plays a crucial role in showcasing the beautiful homes we build and ensuring potential homeowners can visualize their future in one of our properties.
Originally from London, KY, Amanda recently relocated to Louisville with her family. Before joining Taylor Homes, she made her mark as the Alcohol Beverage Control Administrator for her city, where she honed her organizational and leadership skills. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Murray State University, setting a strong foundation for her career in marketing.
When asked about her favorite part of the job, Amanda’s enthusiasm shines through. “I love showcasing the unique features and craftsmanship of each home we create,” she shares. “It’s rewarding to know that what I do can help potential homeowners see themselves in one of our properties.” Her role involves a range of responsibilities, such as tracking leads, managing social media marketing, creating promotional materials, and editing photos of completed homes. Amanda collaborates with our Search Engine Optimization team to ensure our services reach the right audience while crafting engaging content that reflects the excellence of Taylor Homes.
Outside of work, Amanda is a family-oriented person who enjoys spending time with her family and her three dogs. She loves planning trips, exploring new restaurants in Louisville, and diving into a good book. Amanda is also a big sports fan, cheering on the UK football and basketball teams. Additionally, she enjoys tackling home remodeling projects, often with her husband, and is determined to keep DIY disasters to a minimum.
Amanda is a proud mother of two daughters who continuously inspire her. Her oldest daughter is about to embark on a new journey, getting married this year, while her youngest is thriving in her junior year at the University of Kentucky. With all the excitement surrounding her daughters, Amanda cherishes the time spent with their three beloved dogs, who believe they deserve all the privileges of being the “babies” of the family!
When it comes to travel, Amanda dreams of visiting the picturesque city of Positano, Italy, known for its stunning coastline and vibrant culture. She also loves exploring local dining spots and finds it hard to pick just one favorite restaurant in Louisville—there are too many great options!
Amanda feels fortunate to have found a home at Taylor Homes that allows her to pursue her creative side. “The company fosters professional growth while placing a strong emphasis on treating our customers with respect and integrity,” she explains. Amanda appreciates being surrounded by such a remarkable team, which motivates her to bring her best to the table every day.
