Jazz Up Your Cookout on Labor Day | Taylor Homes

Labor Day is JUST around the corner – can you believe it? Seems like just yesterday we were enjoying the dog days of summer! You may find yourself outside enjoying the beautiful long weekend with friends and family, sparking up the barbecue pit and enjoying the day in history that represents social and economic achievements in America.

Here are a few ways you can jazz up your outdoor festivities for this long weekend:

  1. Have something for everyone! Having a cookout typically means lots of delicious meats on the grill. However, when having company over don’t forget to include those that may have dietary restrictions or preferences.
  2. Start marinating as soon as possible. Give yourself a full day of marination before putting on the grill – for optimal, delicious, full-of-flavor food.
  3. Foil is your friend. Use foil to help the cooking process for grilling. It’s light, easy to use, a good conductor and it’s also easy to clean up. Plus, it’s more environmentally friendly than Styrofoam plates!
  4. Get your condiments ready! There’s nothing more exciting than having a delicious sandwich, burger or grilled menu item paired with amazing condiments and sauces. While some like things plain, be sure to appease your audiences that like it saucy!

Overall, Taylor Homes wishes you an amazing Labor Day weekend – enjoy!
