The most important thing to plan when throwing a super bowl party is the menu. Football and great food go hand in hand, so you’re guests will definitely be expecting some delicious treats. Next, you want some festive snacks to serve as your guests are arriving. If you plan to serve cheese and crackers with your chili, this football-themed appetizer is perfect.

This simple dish is so easy that you can let the kids get involved and help prepare it. The football cracker tray is also another dish that you can make ahead of time so you can enjoy your party with your guests. Simple appetizers, such as vegetables and dip and fruit are also great additions.
Now that you’ve got your menu planned it’s time to add a little festive decor to your party. You don’t have to spend a lot of time or money to wow your guests. If you’re making something that requires canned food, put those empty cans to good use and make silverware holders.

Other ways to add to your decor is using a green tablecloth to look like a football field, and buy paper plates and napkins in the team colors.
